Join a values-driven organisation that emphasises integrity, respect and evidence-based ways of working.
Expand your skill set and set yourself up for success by participating in our student induction program and cultural education training.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the program for future students by offering your invaluable feedback.
Speak to the relevant person at your place of study about securing a work placement at Wanslea. They will tell you about any protocols in place that they need to follow. If there is no referral process between Wanslea and your college, school, university or registered training organisation. Please email volunteering@wanslea.org.au

If you are invited for an interview at Wanslea, please dress professionally, arrive promptly and prepare any questions you wish to ask about student placements. We will notify you if you are successful in securing a placement at Wanslea.
Each placement is slightly different from the next, as we consider your course requirements and learning needs.
The duration of your placement will depend on your course requirements as directed by your institution.
You can state a preference for location and team, but this will, in part, depend on the location of your supervisor and operational requirements.
The timing of your application will depend on your institution and course. Please liaise with the relevant contact person at your institution as they will tell you about any protocols that they need to follow to apply for a placement with Wanslea.
All applicants need a current Working with Children Check and Federal Police Clearance. A driver’s licence is highly desirable.
Currently, we only offer placements to students enrolled at WA based educational institutions.
