Hello, my name is Kasey and I am the Centre Coordinator at Wanslea St Peter and Emmaus Early Learning. I have worked at our Joondanna service since 2010. My role and responsibility as the Coordinator is to oversee every aspect of the service. My number one priority is the care, safety, education and development of our little people, supporting our families and community. I have over 15 years of experience and knowledge in the early years sector and I am passionate about children’s play and wellbeing. I believe every child is unique and I pride myself on making an impact to instill strength, resilience, kindness, and respect for diversity and to support every child to reach their full potential. I work closely with our Educators to provide a high-quality service to our families.
I enjoy an active life outside of my professional career which consists of golf, fishing, travel, snowboarding, EPL and my four rescue pets. I was lucky enough to grow up in one of the most stunning parts of the southwest for 18 years of my life in a small country town (back then) called Margaret River. My childhood consisted of being outdoors, surfing, gardening and epic backyard cricket matches. Having this wonderful upbringing is the reason why I work in this industry -I want all children to experience the best holistic opportunities in their early years.
“My son has been coming here since he was 9 months old and he is now almost 2 and a half. From the moment we first enquired till now, the staff have been amazing. So friendly, caring and very passionate about what they do. My son loves it there and we love the support we receive as parents. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who is looking for a fantastic Early Learning Child Care centre.”
