The Plantagenet Centre provides a warm and friendly environment that includes a natural outdoor space that embraces a quaint country feel. We based our program on the individual child and promote their holistic learning and development through play and exploration.
Sustainability is a focus for the Plantagenet Early Learning and Development Centre and the large outdoor area includes a vegetable garden that produces some delicious vegetables. The children are involved in growing, harvesting and eating the vegetables. Our chickens are cared for by the children, they feed them our scraps and collect the eggs for eating at the centre or sharing with families.
We have a strong connection with the traditional custodians of the land, the Menang people, and often have Aboriginal Leaders working alongside our educators supporting the children’s understanding of the Aboriginal culture.
Our educators are qualified and experienced and a University qualified educator oversees the program.
Families are engaged on an individual basis and through our online forum in their child’s learning journey.
